SFU computing science or UBC computer science!?

i've heard that sfu has an awesome computing science program, but does ubc have the better one? I've heard things from both sides so, wondering what you guys think :smile:

    Here's the deal with UBC and SFU.

    If you're a fanatic for Criminology or Computer Sciences, go to SFU.

    If you're a fanatic for General Sciences, go to UBC.

    Simple as that.

    Thats like comparing apples to oranges. UBC has a totally different learning environment than SFU. It is a lot more collaborative here than at UBC so I would factor that into the equation...although UBC appears to have a more established and proven program.

    I heard Uvic's computer science program is very good as well.

    according to what i kno.. SFU has the best cmpt sci/kinesiology program compared to ubc.

    SFU definitely has the better Computing Science program.

    From what I heard, SFU's Computering Science program is only second to Waterloo's in Canada, and it's miles above UBC's program.

    This is of course, what I've been told by the president of the CSSS, but regardless, it does seem to have a very good program.
