RATE OR HATE "FERGIE"



i cannot stand this artist.

sure she may be at the top of the list, but wow.

1- her ' sex ' appeal, she's how old now? 32.

2- her music is honestly the most ridiculous shit. the beat sure is unique, but in such a way it's annoying to hear, i'm sure most people agree with me.

(what's worst is when you wake up to one of her damn ' fer-fergi - fergi - fergilicious fergilicious.. etc ' on the radio)

3- her lyrics are to the point it's what is ruining the type of music out there especially how she degrades women by talking about um, well here, it refers to my #1

i hate, so i'll give her a 2/10 only because she went solo and is successful as a solo artist, something that nicole girl from PCD should do.

    I have no clue who that is, but I totally disagree that people have no sex appeal once they hit 30.

    Both Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt are 43, and just as sexy as they were 20 years ago. And Catherine Zeta Jones is 37 and Nicole Kidman turns 40 this year. There are some really good looking "older" people.

    I duno, shes alright, i cant comment on her music because i hate all that hip-hop, rap, r&b, and whatever else sounds similar, lol.

    I'm leaning towards the hate side... her music is unique and catchy, but it's getting annoying and kinda obnoxious. I saw the BEP a couple of years ago, and she isn't very good live. She doesn't really have the looks to back up her cons either... I don't know WHY guys think she's hot, probably cuz of her bod?

    Plus she totally stole the spelling thing from Gwen Stefani (D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S, G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S, etc.). >=(

    how are you able to stay away from all this mainstream stuff? i've never listened to a full track of Fergie's songs, but i seem to know who she is because my friends talk about her(and about how crappy her songs are).

    i liked Black Eyed Peas...circa 1998 or something? When they had that Joints and Jams song (and they were without Fergie)

    Well I don't listen to the radio and I don't watch TV. So it's pretty easy to avoid the mainstream! I do watch a ton of movies and downloaded shows, but that way I choose what I want to be watching and I don't get bombarded by crap! And no, I don't totally live in a bubble, I read the news online and keep up on the things I actually like. Luckily my friends are all in a similar mindset, so they don't feel the need to talk about celebrity gossip either!

    Not that we should be judging Fergie based on her past, but I heard she was a junkie before she got hooked up with the black eyed peas... she had that hit song humps and now she runs around acting like she's black. I don't think she should ever be compared to Gwen Stefani, I have a lot of respect for Gwen even today because of the good messages she has in her music

    Maybe I'm just not that familiar with her music, but what "good messages" exactly has she had in her tunes? I still have no idea what the hell a hollaback girl is, but I can usually spot a "message".
