CMNS Double Minor Worth it?

I want to focus on publishing and advisors have recommended that the double minor program will be best, but is not having a major going to hurt my chances job opportunities? Any suggestions would be helpful as I'm totally lost at the moment.

    Double minor lets you focus more on the two subjects... but career-related decisions, I think you should ask career advisors :O
