Who know the requirement for macm201, I got 'D' on macm 101

edited December 2015 in General
Can I still take macm201, if i only got 'D' on macm 101?
Or I have to get a 'C-' for macm 101 in order to take macm 201?
I cann't find the requirement online, it doesn't state the min requirement.
"MACM 201

and optimization and matching. Prerequisite: : MACM 101 or (ENSC 251

I did 64% for total marks, but only I failed the final exam, I get 'D'
  • Generally you need at least a C- in a course to use it as a prerequisite. You could talk to an adviser, but I would expect them to be pretty firm on this.

Also I believe there are other courses that require MACM 101, so even if you got an exception here it might be a drag to always have to get an exception..
  • Ryan's right: all Math and Computing courses all require C- or better, and MACM 101 is required in courses like CMPT 275
