WQB

edited November 2015 in General
Can one course spread over a few requirments? For example, suppose I take Eng 102 and it's a Writing/breadth humanities? Do I have to choose which one I want it to contribute to or can I cross off both a writing and humanity course for my WQB?

  • It counts for both! :)
  • The only time WQB credits do not work for both criteria is when it's a B credit. "A course may be designated as B-Soc and B-Hum, or all three B designations (B-Soc, B-Hum and B-Sci), but students must decide which designation of a course to use in order to fulfill their requirements."

It could theoretically be a W, Q and B all at the same time, say if it's a statistics writing intensive course. But if it was a statistics writing intensive course on the philosophy of human statistics within the global world, it would be listed as WQB-Sci/B-Hum and you could use it for W, Q and either B-Sci or B-Hum.
