Thoughts on SFU's Business Minor?

edited November 2012 in General
Hey everyone,

is anyone here thinking of or already admitted to the business minor program at sfu? I was looking at the requirements and I've completed most of the lower division classes and was thinking if I should just go ahead with the minor....do you think it would be a good choice? I'd only need to complete these upper division courses:

Bus 311 Introduction to Managerial Accounting and Financial Management (4)
BUS 341 Fundamentals of Marketing (4)
Bus 340 International Business Strategy (4)
Bus 401 Developing Organizational Opportunities (4)

thoughts? and i am wondering if i would need to do more upper division courses or if these are just the courses i'd need...

Thanks!

  • Ik this is very late and you may not see this but have you gone through with your business minor? I was thinking of maybe doing the same, or either an econ minor. If you did it how was it? Was it worth it? How were the classes?
  • You're 3 years late...Doubt he'll respond. The usefulness of a minor is dependent on the field you want to go into. Econ minor is useless by the way.
