Getting accepted into your program?

edited March 2015 in General
When applying to be accepted into your program to take upper division level courses do you just have to meet the requirements such as the minimum GPA and required classes? Or is it competitive? Like will they only take the people with the highest GPA's and not accept they people with the minimum GPA?

  • If you meet the requirements, it is first come first served.
  • ^^ first come first served, but based on seniority and GPA...so the people with the most seniority and highest GPA get access to class enrollment first (therefore it's possible that the class can fill up before you even have a chance to enroll if you are a new student and/or have a lower GPA)
