CRIM 104 is not "very easy with moderate effort." I took the class online with Cartwright and finished with an A but it was very time consuming. You have to read the chapter, watch a ~50 minute lecture video and take notes on it (which doubles the time spent on it), watch a ~25 minute tutorial video and take notes on it, and then spend a minimum of 1 hour on the tutorial activities. That's easily 4 hours minimum per week of preparation per week before even getting to the studying part.
With that being said, if you want to learn about sociological criminology I would strongly recommend it, but don't think you can just study for 2 hours the night before an exam and walk out with A by doing nothing else.
