Phys 101 recommended coreq for Chem 121?

Phys101 is stated as a recommended co-requisite for Chem121 (not mandatory)...would it be beneficial to do it with Chem 121 or will I be fine with postponing to the following term? Please let me know from your experience if concepts you were learning from Phys101 were integrated in any way shape or form into Chem 121! I'm trying to come up with a manageable first year schedule! Thank you!

    It has nothing to do with Phys101.

    For my first year, I took Chem 121 in the fall without the physics and i did good in that class. It isn't required to do it with Chem 121 and you will be perfectly fine without it.
