taking chem 122, 126, and 281 in the same semester?

edited April 2014 in General
Looks like you can take 122 as a co-requisite for 281, but is this a good idea?
Or would it be easier to take 281 the semester after taking 122 & 126?

  • 281 is a very difficult course, it has a lot of material. I had a terrible experience taking the course in the summer with a sessional and had to retake it with Wilson in the fall and it was so much easier. Since the topics are so different from 122/126, it's fine to take together. I wouldn't take a very heavy course load with it though.
  • @112233: Since you mentioned that you had Wilson as your Chem 281 prof, could you tell me how the prof was, ie. his scaling, easiness, clarity, etc
  • Very clear and he does scale. Make sure you study his previous exams as he reuses the format. The course isn't easy but he makes it understandable.
