D100/D200/E100? What do they mean?

When searching for classes, sometime there is for example D100-LEC, D200-LEC and E100-LEC. What do they mean?

they are called section codes. D for day and E for evening.

So there are 2 sections for the Day version of that class, and 1 Evening section.
