Is it way too late to drop a class now?

I have looked up the 2014 spring - deadlines and it says

April 4 (Friday)

Last day to apply to drop classes in the current term under extenuating circumstances (WE). (Applications received after this date will be considered retroactive and may take longer to process.)

and i don't get what does extenuating circumstances (WE) supposed to mean.

If you want to get any of your money back, yes, it's too late. For WE info, look at:

under Criteria to get an idea.

Yes its too late unless you have some type of medical reason (or similar) to justify dropping out. Which is what WE is

Someone managed to get WE since his laptop got stolen and could not focus anymore on courses plus whatever notes he had on it that were lost now
