did anyone get a bursary notificaions?

edited February 2014 in General

I received an email saying that I have not awarded for an open bursary this term.

However, it shows on my Go.Sfu that I 've been awarded.

Anyone has same issue? whats going on?

  • go.sfu is more accurate
  • same thing with me, got an email that i didnt get a bursary but go.sfu under the financial activity says i got a bursary
  • Yup. Go with go.sfu
  • How'd you get it?
  • Can you tell us a bit about your financial situation and how you got 1k bursary? I've applied for bursaries before, and I haven't gotten any.

For example, do you live alone or with parents? Do you have students loans? Etc.
  • Every semester I apply for bursaries too. They always decline my application.
I work no more than 22hrs a week and my parents do not contribute to my tuition fees and we are low-income for sure!
I wonder how they assess the financial position of applicants.
  • If you live at home you wont get any.
  • Check with registrar office
  • It appears form this thread that in order to receive a bursary, your grammatical skills need to be sub-par.
