I'm not sure if it will let you. If it does though I think the system periodically goes through and kicks anyone out who does not meet the requirements.
If you want to enroll in a course you do not meet the requirements for, you must get permission first. Then enroll or be placed in the class.
A lot of the time the prerequisite is there for good reason, as otherwise the class will be harder and more painful than it needed to be. As Ryan says, have a talk with the instructor.
