edited December 2013 in General
So how do I calculate CGPA and GPA? The one on go sfu is GPA, by would the CGPA be the same? How would this affect the academic probation?

Thanks for the help in advance

CGPA is cumulative GPA, which is basically your current GPA.

    Here is a good link:

  • So they will always be the sAme and if they both lower than 2, then I am on academic probation?
  • go sfu also shows your CGPA on the grades page and on your unofficial transcript. You CGPA determines whether or not you are put on academic probation initially. After that both your GPA and CGPA are taken into account when determining if you remain on it or return to good academic standing.
  • GPA=how you did in the term; CGPA=how you did in your university career thus far

  • A+ 4.33
    A 4.00
    A- 3.67
    B+ 3.33
    B 3.00
    B- 2.67
    C+ 2.33
    C 2.00
    C- 1.67
Then each of those times the number of credits per course. Then sum up all the products of the courses you took in the semester and divide it by the sum of the total credits per semester.
  • Don't forget
    D  1.00
    F   0.00
