Limited Graduate Courses offered in ENSC program

edited November 2013 in General
Hello all,

Does anyone else besides me think that SFU is offering very limited graduate courses, especially in engineering science program? I'm supposed to start my MENG in Spring 2014 but I'm already feeling worried about the number of courses offered. Plus there is only 10 mins time before one class ends and another beings, so are we supposed to run around the campus to be in our classes on time?

Let me know how you people are dealing with this problem.

  • 10 minutes is enough time to get from one side to another. I don't think there are many grad students on this forum.
  • Well, the program only has 8, or 10, course requirements, some of which might be directed studies.  Grad programs in general don't have huge amounts of courses, especially for those taking the project/thesis stream.
  • SFU in general is geared towards undergraduate degrees.  It's a lot easier to run from class to class in 10 min at SFU than at UBC!
  • Hm well. I guess I'll just have to hope better courses are offered next term.
