Transfer to ubc second year

edited November 2013 in General
Hi people,

I am trying to transfer to ubc in my second year. Does anyone know who got into ubc second year? What is the gpa?
I heard that they want me to so another supplemental application, but I am not doing any extra activity such as being executive in a club to make it look good cuz it is first yeas; all I do is study and work. Does it really matter or gpa is more important? Can I lie about it? :p
Thanks for the help!!!

  • First off, I don't know all the people who got into ubc in second year. Gpa is different for each program. Don't lie about it lol if you have a chance of getting in and you lie about bein the head of a club and they check up on your claims, that chance is gone.
  • GPA is most important. Supplemental application basically means what it is supposed to. It is meant to "SUPPLEMENT" your GPA if it isn't up to par with other people. No, you can't lie about it because you need references. Come on, logic man. You need that for UBC too.

Never lie about anything....they'll find out especially both schools are in the same area.  You will be admitted as transfer student, same as other people who transfer from community colleges, so check your program's admission requirements.  I would also highly recommend you talk to their advisors to double check on transfer credits, GPA, etc.
  • hi, thanks for the help people, i really appreciate. I will talk to the advisor in ubc as soon as possible.
