    Not really related but reminded me of this. True story: I tried joining the Chinese club or canadianized Asian club (some thing like that) because my friend dared me, so I went up to their booth on clubs day and asked to join. This chick who could barely speak English told me I couldn't join because I wasn't Chinese and I wouldn't understand what was happening at their events and what not. I'm very clearly not Chinese but still, isn't that like against SFU rules? Racial discrimination? I joined other clubs that same day out of the dare including the African association and the Arab club and was allowed to join even though I wasn't African or Arabian lol

    There're various Chinese clubs, and their purposes are different. One is playing Legend of Three Kingdoms( it's is a card game which called 三国杀 in Chinese ), and another is about Cross Talk. But I guess what u mean "the Chinese club" is "SFUCSSA" ( Chinese Student Scholar Assocation). I didn't join in that club, but I guess it only accepts Chinese people. LOL

    I agree with u. And I'd rather people refuse me to join in the club than they accept me but I feel being isolated or not trully get involved in the club activities.

    Anyway, I don't want to join the club, I want to buy something from this club. when I connected the club in Facebook , they said sorry we don't sell it anymore but I'm sure they still sell it for Chinese only.
