Should I wear a costume to school?

I've never worn a Halloween costume to school during my time at SFU so far, but it's my last year, so I thought, what the hell, and bought a kick ass costume.

BUT, it turns out I have to present a project in my class that day, one which I accidentally did on the wrong topic, and pleaded with my professor to not make me redo it. The project is also largely on rape.

So do I wear my goofy costume? Is it inappropriate now? I don't know the social protocol on this :(

i suppose it would be common logic to not wear the costume due to the intensity of your project... or you can bring casual wear just for the project. I mean, its rape.
