Transferring into Business From Kwantlen

I have been at Kwantlen for 1 year now in the Accounting program, and have a 2.22 Average GPA. but i sure that i can boost up my GPA if I repeat 1 or 2 courses, what GPA would best suit me for SFU to consider transferring me?

  • That's pretty low... you probably won't get in. You also need to take the required courses.

    Why don't you just stick with Kwantlen for now until 3rd year or whatever where you can transfer directly to SFU? If you're having trouble at Kwantlen you won't do any better at SFU.
  • that was what i was thinking of, if i get stick to kwantlen and receive my diploma there, will my chances of transferring into sfu increase?
  • I believe when you're in your 3rd year you're able to transfer directly into the SFU business faculty. I can't seem to find it now though. Try talking to an advisor. You could also take all the equivalent required courses for the SFU business faculty and transferring then (assuming you have a decent GPA).
  • You will still need a competitive GPA.
