Work and University

edited August 2013 in General
Hi everyone. I'll be going into Beedie this fall with 4 courses. I'm wondering if you guys will be working while going school and how will you able to balance school and work?

    How many hours per week are you working? I just finished my first year at Beedie while working two part-time jobs and I found 4 courses per semester pretty manageable. However, I did drop to 3 in the spring semester as I wanted to get more involved with clubs and stuff.
  • Probably 20 hours? Will there be enough room for study and clubs, etc?
  • Time management varies from person to person. I think you should give 4 courses a try in your first semester. If it's too much then you can always do 3 in the future.
  • Yup I take 4 courses and work. It's fine.
  • very possible, just don't expect that much free time.
  • I took 4 courses while working 2 times a week in the Spring and I think it is manageable, but for me I had to give up social life and time to chill with friends because all week was pretty much school/studying and weekends were dedicated to work. I had no time for other things :( But then again it depends on the person!

    If you manage to fit in social life in there that would mean you might have to give up sleep too

    Remember, social life; grades; sleep you can only choose 2! unless you're a crazy amazing time management person who can do it all, I salute you.
  • Really depends on the person.  Work is usually much easier than school work because most people don't take their work home with them.  School work, on the other hand, has studying and homework which can take up as much time as you want.
  • @BeAnBeAn Faggots can't copulate for their life, no point for that vanity.
  • @utopicdyslexia woah woah woah woah woah woah woah. How do you explain your two dads then?

    @lakerfanatic Thanks babe :) lol.
