  nope not at all. You need lots of practice and u cant do that in a week. Stick to memorizing key phrases that you may likely use but in no way can you speak fluent japanese in just a week.

  Well...I guess I'll just have to make do. Entertaining a Japanese guest from Japan that barely knows any English for a week in a week from now.

  wow...that is heavy...i guess what you can do in a week is: spend all your time in japanese, hire a tutor as fast as possible, and starting to make a list where you going to show him, what kind of words you might use and keep practicing at home or with ur tutor...
