Student Loan help!

Okay, so I submitted a student loan for this coming Fall term, but I need my parents to submit an "Appendix 1" form.
What
is that? Do I HAVE to fill it out? If my parents have a lot of savings
in their bank account does that mean that I'm not eligible for a loan?

    Yes, you HAVE to fill out Appendix 1. I'm not sure about the other question though.

    Well your parents should be filling it out not you. But yes, it is required and they will not look at your application until that is completed and sent in. StudentAidBC has different threshold income-levels for eligibility for student loan so it depends.

    it all depends on how much they're willing to lend you but yes the government likes to keep its money so you'll probably have a reduced loan

    even if you don't get a loan, no harm trying, you might get a grant (free moolah)

    So now I have another question: when filling out the StudentAidBC loan, under program information, when it says year of program...do I put "1" if I'm entering first year? Even if the program is 4 years long? (Student loans go by semesters, or....?) Thanks!

    If you're like everyone else you probably need a loan every semester to pay for tuition and such so yes that's why they ask all these nitty bitty questions
