Can I take MATH251?

edited May 2013 in General
I've taken Math152 before and got a grade of C+.

I have successfully enrolled in Math251 on SIS, but the course description says it requires Math152 with a grade of at least B.

Does anyone know whether I can take Math251 or I have to retake Math152?

Apologize for poor english=P

  • Yes, you can take it. If you read it more carefully you will see that it says you need a B in math 156 not 152 since math 156 is easier than 152.

Well if that's what it says then yes you do have to retake it. If you don't need 251 then don't take it. It is no easier than 152. Seriously, I think the guy behind me had a panic attack during the final exam and the average was so low that the prof was too embarrassed to tell us the final exam average (i think was it around 20-30%)
  • Thanks guys above! I just realized there's a semicolon between Math152 and Math158.

So I guess I can take it. I have to take math251 to major in statistic...

  • I meant 158, not 156 haha
  • if you don't have the requirements, it wouldn't let you enroll anyways
  • i had 151 A, 152 B+, 251 is way hardddddddd

  • ^ What he said. Prepare your asshole because it's not going to be pleasant when you get raped by that course.
