4 credit electives?

edited March 2013 in General
What are some 4 credit elective courses? Besides SA 150 since I've already taken it

  • Any particular program?  That just might make a difference.  Maybe check your department webpages.  For instance, World Literature has an electives page:

  • hsci 130
  • ^not 4 credits
  • EDUC 465
  • If you consider ECON 103, ECON 105 is also 4 credits. I wouldn't go the econ route for electives though unless the subject actually interests you. The classes are curved so if you end up finishing with a below average percent you will get a below average letter grade that will then be multiplied by 4 which can hurt your GPA. Also most of the kids in those ECON classes are required to take them, so they will be keener to do well than people taking them as an elective.

That said though if you are interested in econ go for it. I did econ 103 as an elective and it worked out fine.
  • i did hsci 130 for 4 credits
  • Haha yeah I thought econ would be a good idea for an elective, wow not a good idea at all.
  • I definitely don't want to take any ECON courses as an elective. Anything math or science related for that matter haha
  • Psy201... I'll take it next semester
