Defer Admission

So I got accepted into SFU Bachelor of arts, but I'm doing John Casablanca's Institute's Hair design program for 6 months after graduation. This lasts from July to around January. Will SFU let me defer my admission for 6 months? :/ My friend also told me I could accept, but not register for courses and it just defers... is that true?

    "Offers of admission cannot be deferred if you plan on attending another post-secondary institution."

    So my second question, my friend told me that I could accept but not register for the courses. Is it true that I can leave it like that and register in the spring/summer? She said that was what her friend did...

    I'm not 100% sure about that. I suggest you email your faculty advisory.
