Swap option.. Is this supposed to happen?

edited December 2012 in General
Hey guys,

so I wanted to swap out of this class A to class B but I'll be on waiting list for class B. I used the swap button and it was marked with a tick that class A is swapped with class B successfully, but when I check my schedule, both class A and class B are in my schedule. Thinking I "added" class B instead of swapping, I dropped my waiting list class B and redid the swap process.. same results. Does anyone know if this was supposed to happen? I thought class A would disappear from my list entirely.

Thanks.

  • The class schedule list in the go.sfu system that shows all courses you've been in this semester, including courses you've dropped. If this is the list you are talking about then there should be a status for each course, and the courses you are in should have status enrolled and the courses you dropped should be status dropped. There's also a check box at the top for "Show dropped classes" that is checked by default. If this isn't the list you are looking at then I don't know what's up.
