GPA

edited December 2012 in General
Hi, i have a quick question here! I am plannign to major in crim but have taken 2 science courses this semester. I ended up with a D in chem121, would that have any affect on my acceptance into crim? should i retake it?

  • A quick look at criminology requirements makes it look like people don't really declare it as their major until 3rd year. In that case I wouldn't bother retaking chem, and just get started taking all of the courses you need to take to be eligible. It shouldn't be too hard to get the required 2.25 CGPA even with the one D.
  • Yeah what ryan said, focus on your pre-reqs for Crim and just boost your GPA through those especially if you planning for Co-Op which is 2.75CGPA I believe.
