PSYC 100 Final!?!?

edited December 2012 in General
How do I study for this final. I know its 100 m/c questions but theres just too much info to learn and Alder's notes are useless, I can't re-read all 9 chapters. Plus he has that stupid correction for guessing bullsh*t

it's been a while (4 years to be exact) since I've had this class so take this with a grain of salt: but I'd start with memorizing/learning all of the key terms in each chapter. I'd be willing to guess a significant number of questions will be dedicated to those.

I'd also spend time practicing with the practice questions on WebCT, and you might notice many of the questions focus on key terms too so that'd be a good way to get the terms down.

Once you have the keyterms down, you can go through reading the book.  It's not necessary to sit there and read it very in-depth/memorize what you're actually reading, you just have to be able to know it enough to recognize the answer when it's presented to you (since it's MC after all). Also, I assume he said the final will be weighted towards material that wasn't covered in the previous midterms, correct? If that's the case you need to read those chapters more closely than the previous ones, of course.

Also be mindful of stuff you come across that seems like testable material (e.g. explanations of concepts, theories, etc). Good luck.
