Memorable courses you've taken at SFU
Since majority of my posts seem to revolve around bitching and whining about SFU I thought I would do a positive one. Looking back at my time here I did enjoy several courses that have been taught by great professors/sessional instructors. I have also had the opportunity to meet some amazing classmates who seemed to know a lot more and have tons more experiences than I do that would leave me in awe.
I thought I'd share some of them here, feel free to add your experience as well.
POL 100-first class in uni, TA was pretty (hot), nice, and kind to us, met a branch of first year students like me, some from other countries as well
POL 324-spent the summer in the "dungeon" in RCB, very knowledgeable prof, made boring subject at least interesting, and a girl who was into Sam Roberts Band cause she wore the band t-shirt a couple of times to school
POL 327-kinda easy class, met this cool linguistic girl and we basically didn't pay attention to the lecture, still manage to get decent grades
POL 335-the only class in uni where I did exceptional good *wink wink*
POL 441, 446-course taught by same prof as 335, in downtown, met tons of cool people, most have very experienced IR backgrounds (international relations and theories)
HIST 362-prof was really nice, and coming from an Irish ancestry she certain knows really well about Irish history
HIST 424-sessional prof doing his PhD at the time, summer course up at AQ 5th floor, materials really fascinates me
