What to do if all the classes I need are full??

edited November 2012 in General
3 out of 5 of the classes I need are already full. My 4th class only has 9 spots left and my enrolment date isn't until Thursday (Nov. 22)

Has anyone else ever been in this position before?

  • you're overreacting, just get on the wait-list and ppl will drop before first week of school, guaranteed
  • How am I overreacting? I was asking a simple question if anyone else has experienced this. Last semester I got an early enrolment date since I was a new student so I wanted to know if this is what it's like every time you try enrolling in classes or not
  • I was near the last position for waitlist in one of my kin courses whereby  the class total was about 100 to 150 and majority of the seats were filled and i was position number 47 on waitlist. I got in near the end of my summer break. So chances are you probably will get into to your class but it may take a while. People are bound to drop. Just in case have a backup course
  • most people sign up for more classes than they plan to take so iI bet in any given class 20% of the seats will empty before classes even start. just be patient and check up them every so often
  • I didn't register for classes until like mid-August. I think I was wait-listed for all of my classes and I still got in every single one (they were popular classes as well).
