Hello , did anyone take pol 101w with andy heard? if yes how should i prepare for the midterm? Do i need to read the text book or reading the ppt and listening to lecture is good enough?
The best way to study for his midterms in 101 is by focusing on the main concepts and figure out how to write an essay on them. So don't waste time studying many random facts, instead focus on a few big ideas and how to make an argument on it. I remember for my midterm a couple years ago, one of the essay questions was about the Quebec-Canada split.
I took his class a year ago. I thought the midterm was very fair. There weren't many questions but the few that were were very loaded. Do the little quizzes on his site. Good luck! :)
