Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Computing Science
Hi...
I am from Spain and I hold a 4 year BSc in CS.. I applied for MSc at CS SFU and unfortunately I was not accepted. I found the Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Computing Science that SFU provides and it is described as a good choice for someone who seeks an adequate level of undergraduate training before applying to a graduate program in Computing Science.
So I plan to study this 1year program and apply again for the MSc.. What's your opinion? Do you know anything about this Diploma? Does it worth?

TalkSFU is not necessarily very busy right now, and it looks like there are not many CS students to weigh in on your question here. You might want to talk to someone in CS:
http://www.cs.sfu.ca/contact-us.html
even if it is the Official Version of the usefulness of the diploma...
I have already talked with an advisor from CS. I just want a non-official opinion about this program. If you know someone who took this program and then continued to the MSc, if it worths the money etc..
The advisors will not give me such information..
thanks for your time.
