Surrey is only bad if you've been sheltered your whole life and are terrified of the lower class. I've lived there my whole life, never has my car been broken into, I've never been "mugged", and never been the victim of any crime. Sure, bad things happen in Surrey but that's because bad things happen EVERYWHERE. I think you'd really enjoy SFU Surrey and if you don't, you can walk 2 minutes to the skytrain and transit to Burnaby in no time at all. Good luck :)
SFU Surrey is a very nice campus with lots of facilities nearby.. the brand new city library just opened up down the street as well. Every city has it's bad parts and good parts!
Kay bro. University of Calgary is NOT full of rednecks... I mean winters are terrible but I believe the education and facility aren't that bad. I think if I were choose between the two, I'd choose to not because ugh school is just so much crap and a roadblock in life.
