What are some easy upper level BISC classes ?

Even though, I have to take BISC 300, AND 333. What are some easy A options ? And who are the best BISC teachers ?

  • Finishing my biology degree in December, here is my take. 

    1. Conservation Biology: With Green or that shark-loving guy. It's easy, and a lot of it is just repeated from animal ecology and population genetics.

    2. Population Genetics if your math is decent. If you were good at applied math (eg. physics) you'll find it an easy A. If not you'll fail.

    3. Behavioral Ecology. Very few concepts, most of it's common sense.

    4. 329, but it's a lot of work. Doug Wilson teaches it, and he is the nicest prof you will ever have the privilege to meet at SFU. Not hard stuff, but it takes time. Lab credit too.
  • I can't remember her name but the professor for vertebrate biology is one of the best at SFU.. lot of memorization for the class though, especially in conjunction with the lab component
