Approval to Graduate

edited July 2012 in General
Why, in the application process for graduation, does Senate need to approve your graduation? And then, only if you get a letter from them stating you are approved, then you are actually approved to graduate. Don't you think that if you have completed all your graduation requirements and have above the minimum GPA, then you would be entitled to graduate?

  • I think it's usually the faculty advisor or head of the faculty that looks at the classes you've completed and signs off that you can graduate.. whats going on?
  • It's just rubber stamp...after all it's the "senate" lololololol
