Distance Education Courses

I will be starting my first semester at SFU in the summer and I see a lot of my courses are "distance education" Do you think it would be sensible to take a distance ed class? I've never done an online class so I really have no idea what to expect or if it will be much more difficult. Any info on this helps.

    distance courses are not that bad, but it is not suggested when you are in first semester.

    I'm transferring from a different university so I understand the workload that comes along with university courses. Thanks.

    workload is not a problem, but attending classes can give you opportunities to make new friends here
