Communication requirement for ubc science

Hi all,

I am planning on transferring to ubc science next fall semester (im a 1st year student), and not because I don't like sfu (having a good time actually), but because they have the major I want that unfortunately sfu doesnt offer...

Anyways, I'm a bit confused with their communication requirements for transfer into 2nd year. It says that I must either have 6 credits of first year english or a 5 on the lpi...

Now here's the thing, I got an 86% on english 12 in highschool, does that mean I still have to write the lpi? Also, is it possible I just do 3 credits of first year english at sfu and then do the remaining credits at ubc?

    u can do the latter where u take one english course at sfu then do the other at ubc.  or do both at sfu and transfer it.
