Bumping up GPA by a factor of >0.4 in a semester

edited January 2010 in General
To any one of you who has accomplished this feat, would you care to share your experience? Or maybe you could just clarify whether or not this could actually be done. Thanks.

my lowest cgpa got to 1.624, next one i managed to bump that to 2.044
wasnt anything radical, i just took easier courses

Went from 2.33 to 2.67 once. (Taking 3 math courses and another, 2 of the math courses were retakes)
(not >0.4, but still decent, considering how many shitty marks I have)

It really depends on how many credits you've accumluated so far...the more credit's you've already completed, the less your gpa will fluctuate.

Check this out, it should help GPA Calculator

Plus re-do courses that you did poorly in would be my suggestion.
Just keep in mind you get only 5 retakes throughout your entire period of study.

Exactly what Simon said. Depends how many credits you're at... I've only got 24 credits to go after this semester and bringing up my GPA is a daunting task.

Where the fank can you get ritalin from anyways? Is there some shady character working at the registrar that has a little operation going down at the side?
  • went from CGPA of 2.86 -> 3.07 worked my ass off pulling off A, A- , and B+. It really depends on your course load credits for that semester and the amount of credits you already have.
