my bio TA dated a girl from my class who i was friends with.. they met in tutorial, but didnt really start dating until that summer and then tbey dated for a couple of years. I thought it was kinda cool, assuming the TA didnt have any bad intentions. Keep in mind, TA's are just students too
I would think it is not appropriate until they are out of the same course.
Then it would seem alright in my books.
The problem having a relationship IN the course is with marks and what not. I would think the school wouldn't allow it and the TA could get in trouble until both of them are not in the same course anymore.
hmm.. i know a prof (thou shall not be named so don't ask) who went out with a TA that was TA-ing his class for the semester and subsequently knocked her up.. they would also hold hands while they walk into the lecture room so i guess that's less taboo than TA-student or prof-student relationships?
^.... okay that's just gross.... and wrong on a lot of levels!
But on the other hand my advisor just got married to my prof LOL... I found out when her last name changed to his and they had FB picks of each other.....
The weird part of it is the fact that they work in the same department. Which I kinda think is wrong. This means the PROF could technically sneek in her account to view student info.
Kinda creates a hazard... which is why I saw you should keep your relationships and jobs seperate!!!
you guys confuse me.. i was referring to playing christmas songs at work and sing along with them.. so what hits the fan? and what abt sperm hits the egg? *confused*
in any case.. when in doubt ivt.. there's spermicide.. ;p
