100-level CRIM D700 Surrey Sections

Does anyone know what the story is with these sections? My brother is trying to register for 2 of them and the SIS shows the classes (lecture and tutorial) as having seats available but when he tries to enroll he gets an error message saying the class is full. I cannot find anything on the SIS regarding reserve restrictions. Does anyone know if seats are reserved for a Surrey cohort program or something like that?

    Yes they are. Some seats in CRIM classes in Surrey are reserved for CrimOne students, and Burnaby students for the most part can't enroll in any Surrey classes until the restrictions have been lifted (as far as I remember). The cap should be lifted at midnight.

    I tried enrolling in CRIM classes in Surrey AFTER the open enrollment time, and it still doesn't work...HELP!

    Thanks Desolate! My bro actually did end up getting into 1 of them after the restrictions were lifted.

    No worries! I just came across an email the other day where it said that 90% of the spots in Surrey CRIM classes are reserved for CrimOne and Surrey-designated students, so I'm sure that applies to all of them.
