MADrenegade is looking for talented and motivated individuals to join their Officer and creative team at SFU

  • Cool thanks... I didn't know about this I'll send in my application soon it sounds like a good gig
  • interesting... graphic design would be fun but too bad im not an sfu student anymore i graduated last year :( it would be a lot more fun than working at my bank hehe
  • If anyone is interested in the media or web field, this is a great opportunity. I know that sounds generic, but education alone isn't enough to land a good job you have to have the experience too and this is a great way to get it while still taking classes :)

@guess4life is your background/education in graphic design?
  • You might think it’s important to get a job to gain experience but that’s like saying you should play golf to get experience playing golf. A job only gives you experience at that job, but you gain ”experience” doing just about anything... smart people build systems that generate passive income for them even when they aren't working (or so i'm lead to believe)
  • ummmm i don't think you really have an argument... the more experience you have playing golf, the better you will be... where's the problem? no offense but you sound like one of those people who has a get rich scheme waiting lol
  • don't forget that some experiences are "transferrable" (eg: telephone skills) to other jobs while certain experiences can only be utilized if the jobs are somewhat similar.. but i think the important thing is what you make of those experiences and make them workable to the current job.. obviously there's something that the employee sees/wants from you if they hire you based on your job experience.. it's crucial to be able to use the experience you gained to your advantage..=)

how else do you get golfing experience if you don't play golf?
