new forum - talkvancouver.ca
hey guys
many of you have been around talksfu long enough to know that it's an ongoing goal of mine for it to be as easy to use as possible. i've tried my best to nurture a supportive and fun environment for everyone to hang out in, without fear of discrimination or prejudice. i'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has used, appreciated, and supported talksfu all these years and enjoyed everything it has to offer. it's all of you that make this place so awesome.
since graduating from sfu in 2008, i've been thinking about starting a new forum that caters to a more diverse audience so i finally came up with talkvancouver.
using what i learned from here, i'm hoping to build a helpful and fun community of people that live, work and play in the lower mainland. i hope you guys will join the new forum and help add some interesting new discussions to the mix. if we work together i think we can make talkvancouver a great community that does a lot of positive things

Is there any way you can have people register without us needing to enter our email addresses? Make's it much more attractive to register but I guess it makes it more susceptible to spam.
I'll mod if no one else volunteers. :P
question: do my privileges here in talkSFU transcend to talkVancouver? =p
@siuying of course...should be fun! :)
