So I have a question...

for the upper division requirements, you are required to take some electives right? And they can also be outside if your major?

Well if I take an elective within my major, do they have to be 300/400 levels. Because I want to take two 200 level crim classes right now, but i only need 1 under my lower division requirement.

I can't declare my major until after fall, so i'm kind of stuck on what to take,s o im kind of looking ahead in my electives for upper division req.

Any suggestions or anyone can answer my question?

You can declare a crim minor if you meet those requirements, then declare your major when you're ready

they wont let me declare my minor because i 1 credit short. so i have to wait until end of summer.

do u kno what upper level crim classes i can take without having to declare minor or major in crim?

Can't you do pretty much any upper division Crim classes as long as you've met the pre-requisites?

You can only take Restorative Justice and Forensic Sciences, both are offered in the Fall, but I suspect they're pretty much full by now.

It's a good class, I'm taking it right now and it really opens your mind to some new ideas. Though, you'll want to kill yourself midway through the class because the weekly journal entries are so annoying and stupid.

    who's ur proff right now?
  • edited July 2010
what are these weekly journals u speak of?

Alana Abramson, she's a really good prof who's very passionate about the topic. There's a topic for a week and you respond to it, it gets really annoying after a while and you'll end up writing 30-40 pages at the end of the semester.

Dude... I was three credits short and Gabriel still let it slide and pushed me up to a minor temporarily so I could take some of the upper division courses. I'm sure it'll be fine if you just ask him?

    >_> I thought everyone hated Gabriel...*sigh*..i'll talk to him tomorrow.
