Events Not to Miss in Vancouver in February 2010

There's a lott of cool stuff going on around Vancouver, and most of it is free so don't get lost in the noise...this kinda thing only happens once in a lifetime, so enjoy it!

The first place to probably start the journey is downtown Vancouver, at Robson Square. Robson Square is normally at the heart of the Vancouver's shopping/dining/nightlife district, but right now it's the heart of the Olympics. With a free outdoor skating rink, huge posters, lights, and celebrations it's definitely worth a wander.

Another cool outdoor show is happening at English Bay, called Vectorial Elevation. The only thing that does justice to this brilliant monstrosity of a light show is a picture, so here it is:

There's a ziptek line that glides you over some buildings...looks fun but dangerous lol! More on that next time...

Most of this stuff is simply from the top of my head from the preparations so far, so let me know if you guys know of any other fun stuff going on throughout the month!

    I was at Ozone for opening ceremony.... one word of advice: if you want to go to heineken house GO EARLY! the line ups were massive when I got there today

    enjoy the free concerts and the displays! don't let all these festivities slip by without enjoying them! No-fun-Vancouver is finally showing it's other side so make sure to take advantage of it!

    I went downtown on Sunday with my friends and just enjoyed the atmosphere and the buzz. Everyones having a great time, theres so much going on, and there is some intense comradarie going on, with a great international vibe. So many people in the streets and so much going on everywhere you look, make sure you check it out. Fireworks in robson square, live news filming, girls, and more!! :)

    I was there on Sunday too. The water show is pretty cool.
    And yes, it certainly looks like a completely different place to me...haha!
