Broken iPhone

edited January 2010 in General
Anyone know anyone that could fix it? I don't think the Apple warranty will cover it since it's physical damage....

When I went to Calculus lectures in the morning there was always a sign outside the lecture hall that will fix cracked screens.

Across the hall from C9002. Then again, a shop would probably be more reliable.

@bufli - If you could get me the address, that would be great.

However, I have an appointment with the Geniuses at the Apple store tonorrow. Hopefully it's covered by the 1 year warranty. Screen is cracked AND the touch screen is not working now so yeah...

    Sigh.

I've been doing research the whole day and depending on which iPhone you have, it varies in prices for repairs if not covered by warranty. I definitely saw $199 + taxes but I'm expecting more... So sad today! :(

    how'd u break it?

Slipped out of my pocket and fell on the floor.

I went to the Apple store today and it costs $256 with taxes to repair.

I want an iPhone to replace my Blackberry, which I broke on New Years. But getting one costs 700 dollars for just the phone.

they need some upgrade/trade in program running!

  • edited January 2010
how does fidodollar upgrades work anyway, i got about 70 i think
  • edited January 2010
pretty much you just spend the fido dollar as if it were cash to buy your phone lol

or you could use it to pay for features, such as text or data

fido dollars are pretty convenient to have. I have about enough to trade in for two iphones =) But i think i'll save them to get the newer one when it comes out next summer anyways.

Plus the plans for iphone are expensive so i don't think i'll go for that now.
