Minor in Math

edited December 2009 in General
Is it worth it? Is there a point? I'm in CS and I realized that I only need 4 Upper Division courses to get a minor since the other courses are fulfilled through my major.

On one hand, it's only 4 more courses which is like an extra semester but on the other hand I already have enough trouble with the lower division courses which I usually get a C or C+ in. STAT 270 is my last required math course and I can only assume that UD MATH courses are brutal.

Would a Math minor make a difference in job prospects?

A minor in anything is useless.

    In masochism, yes. ;)

My nuclear science minor would beg to differ. ;)
