Retakes
So I went to the econ chairman for help, since I failed an econ course 2 times (personal issues on the 2nd attempt), and I need it for my business degree...
We worked something out and I needed C+'s this semester for him to give me another chance at this.
Well the semester is over and I got a C- on my philosophy course. Sigh
What can I do now basically?
How does the system work? Will it let me take the econ course again if I just enroll?
It feels like my life is over...

BTW, I think you have 5 re-takes and you can use it all on the same course if you want and you don't need permission. The Chairman's "deal" just meant that you can re-take it a third time but does not count towards your re-take counter (You'd still have 4 re-takes left if he gave you one). His "deal" comes out of his own pocket cause he can do that.
I also suggest that you drop out of Business.
good luck.
I came from a polytechnic institute, so what are you trying to say there. Honestly, the amount of thought that went into your post wouldn't even cut it at a clown college.
As for the question - try settle all the personal stuff then distance yourself from it as best you can. Someone mentioned talking to an advisor and I think it's worth a shot to do that.
