Interesting/Fun Science Courses

edited November 2009 in General
So.. my registration appointment is coming up in about two hours, and due to lack of availability, and scheduling conflicts, it looks like I'll have to take 2 or 3 non-CMPT courses.

Instead of fill these with some easy arts GPA boosters like I usually do(and be bored out of my mind), I'd rather try some interesting or useful science courses. I haven't done much science since high school, and I was thinking about taking something like PHYS 192 - Logarithm and Blues.

It doesn't have to be a WQB course, or even an easy course. I'm just looking for something different.

Any recommendations?

Do you remember what type of stuff PHYS 190 covered? I want to take it as one of my Science credits in the summer if it's offered because I absolutely love astronomy. One of my favourite things in the world. Problem is I'm not much of a science person and never took Physics 11 or 12.

I just talked to her about it and I think I was convinced not to bother. :\
She said first half is easy, but then there's a lot of formulas and shit to remember.

I know there's an Earth Science course about the solar system that would probably be pretty cool... dunno if it's a Science credit though.

DONT TAKE THE SOLAR SYSTEM ONE...MY FRIENDS IN IT AND SHE'S ON THE VERGE OF COMMITTING SUICIDE!!!

It can't be that bad. Earth science can't get you with stupid formulas...

    OR CAN IT!? lolol

There's also CHEM 192 which is a survey course for non-science majors. :)
