advice on wireless internet problem

edited November 2009 in General
hey everyone i have a question on wireless internet.

Here is my situation:
I have a laptop with wireless access but when i'm at home i have a router to connect to that gives me internet access but for some reason it is messed up and my connection dies around midnight every night and i can't re connect until the next day. This can be very frustrating for me and i don't know what i can do.

I was wondering if there are any way i can fix this or if there is other ways for me to have access but not cost me very much? I looked around sfu and i thought we could connect to the sfu network from home and stuff and access our student files and stuff but no avail. What's with the sfu secure thing as well?

Any help is much appreciated :)
